On Tuesday September 15th and Wednesday September 16th, members of SHPE at LM Aero participated in Lockhee'd Hispanic Leadership Council (HLC) Forum hosted at the Center for Leadership Excellence (CLE) in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition to listening to guest speakers, asking questions to panelists, and interacting in break-out sessions, participants experienced networking with more than 200 employees in attendance, as well as Marillyn Hewson and many of her Executive Leadership Team members.

Participants were also able to meet and talk with the University of Texas at El Paso's (UTEP) President, Dr. Diana Natalicio, and Aeronautics Executive Vice President, Orlando Carvalho. The chapter hopes to build on the relationships it established at the conference and continue building synergy with other Hispanic organizations, as well as supporting Mr. Carvalho's initiative of reaching 18,000 Hispanics in the corporation by 2018.
