My name is Luz Emily Cuevas, and I am currently a senior at Trimble Tech High School. I am interested in getting my bachelor's degree in engineering. I want to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to find the engineering concentration I want to study. I am passionate about using my artistic creativity alongside mathematics and science.  In addition, I am the president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the treasurer for the National Honor Society, and an active member in volunteering activities around the community. I hope to one day get a Master of Engineering degree or possibly a Ph.D.
