We have two STAR Award winners who will be receiving their awards at the Excellence in STEM lunch and at the STAR Award Gala banquet during the SHPE National Conference in Seattle, Washington in November.   Rosa Dominguez will be receiving the Junipero Serra Award for outstanding contributions in the fields of engineering and science. Lorena Loucel will be receiving the Community Service Award for extraordinary efforts to the goals of SHPE and the Hispanic community.
