SHPE LM Aero members actively participated at the SHPE National Conference held in WA Seattle to promote STEM fields and provide support to the Hispanic community. The conference included development workshops, engineering competitions, networking events, and the largest career exposition to over 6,600 participates that included students, professionals, and corporate representatives.  At the event, two SHPE LM Aero members were recognized for their accomplishments. Lorena L. Loucel received the Community Service Award at the Star Awards Ceremony for demonstrating outstanding efforts and continuous commitment to the goals of SHPE and the Hispanic Community. Rosa L. Puga received the Junipero Serra Award at the Excellence in STEM Ceremony for significant and innovative accomplishments that lead to advancements in the Science and Engineering fields.
