With great pleasure, the SHPE Lockheed Martin Aeronautics - Fort Worth professional chapter is proud to announce the four recipients of the 2012-2013 SHPE LM Aero scholarship grant program as they prepare to move on to their respective college majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) career field of study: SHPE LM Aero $1,000 High School Scholarship Recipient Ms. Alexa Cardenas - from Arlington High School - attending the University of Texas at Austin SHPE LM Aero $1,000 High School Scholarship Recipient Ms. Consuelo "Connie" Cuevas - 2013 SHPE Jr. Chapter President from Trimble Technical High School - attending Cornell University SHPE LM Aero $1,000 High School Scholarship Recipient Ms. Emily Olmos - from Keller High School - attending Texas A&M University SHPE LM Aero $1,000 High School Scholarship Recipient Ms. Nicole Aragon - from Richland High School - attending University of Texas at Dallas.
The winners will be notified and invited to attend annual scholarship award luncheon held at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to receive their award and an overview of Lockheed Martin Corporation and the F-35 program, network with LM company executives, and receive a tour of the F-35 production line.
