On Saturday March 1st, SHPE at LM Aero held their first SHPE I.D.E.A.S. (Introduction to Design Engineering and Analysis Seminar) which was funded through a SHPE Foundation ACE Mini-Grant. The event was held at Northside High School where SHPE LM Aero is actively trying to restart a SHPE Jr. Chapter.


The students participated in two STEM activities designed to be fun while introducing them to concepts in engineering. The event was a success with approximately 25 students in attendance. Feedback was positive as the students expressed great interest in starting their own SHPE Chapter - if you are interested in helping this chapter get started contact Lorena Loucel or any one of you SHPE board members!
