Volunteer Opportunity: SHPE Jr. Lead

There is a professional/community opportunity available SHPE members.  SHPE has partnered with the Lockheed Martin Community Relations department for this inaugural professional opportunity. By engaging and inspiring Lockheed Martin’s Hispanic leaders, we are ensuring our Hispanic youth is well-positioned to support long-term strategic goals of recruiting future STEM leaders. The academic school year is quickly approaching and our Lockheed Martin chapter is looking for a SHPE Jr Leads at two local high schools in the Fort Worth ISD. As a SHPE Jr lead, you will:    - Mentor to several high school students    - Host a monthly STEM related activities at Northside HS    - Qualify for the President’s Volunteer Gold Service Award.    - Network with other passionate Hispanic LM engineers.
